The New Balance 2002R “Conversations Amongst Us” was designed by Chicago creative Joe Freshgoods and is part of a larger collection. “I’m honored to announce “Conversations Amongst Us” the name of the campaign, led and directed by me for New Balance,” Freshgoods said on IG. “I wanted to tell a story of the black experience, emphasizing crucial dialogues that connect the community while inspiring the next generation of black creatives.” The New Balance 2002R Conversations Amongst Us takes on a clean appearance as the shoe features a clean white mesh and suede build all throughout the upper along with subtle yellow, grey, black, and blue accents throughout. Conversations Amongst Us branding on the insoles and heels, white midsoles, and semi-translucent gum rubber outsoles cap off the look.
